Senior Engineer

Advantus Engineers is seeking a full-time Senior Engineer to provide the following services on a large commercial construction project in Pittsburgh, PA. It is anticipated that this role’s responsibilities will also include assisting Advantus on other projects, including MEP commissioning.

• MEP technical drawing and document review.

• Provide technical RFI responses and technical submittal responses.

• Serve as technical MEP expert in field inspections.

• Prepare site observation reports.

• Interface with commissioning agents.

• Coordinate with design team and contractors.

• Participate in project meetings.

• Proactively address issues that may come up in the field.

• Coordinate the preparation of MEP punchlist items and monitor its completion.

• Assist in project close-out.

• Evening and weekend work may be required as determined by project schedule and need.

• A background check, drug testing, training, and other clearances as required by the project or client are anticipated.
