Advantus was the enhanced commissioning agent for this LEED Gold science building in Pittsburgh, PA. This 23,000-square-foot school building features multiple adaptable classroom/lab spaces for physics, biology, and chemistry. There were many sustainable features installed that reduce environmental impact while creating teaching opportunities. In addition to efficient HVAC and lighting systems, there is also a rooftop solar array and monitoring system, and a rain garden to collect storm runoff.
